Jumps out of the glass and full of personality. You can tell this comes from a hot land, it even has petrol notes besides dried red fruits and leather. Really expressive, and what a nice contrast to the palate – it is almost light with that moderate 13% ABV, far from being jammy or sweet. Savoury like most Italian reds. Good acidity and gently firm, but not marked tannins make it well drinkable. It offers a lot to explore and has some complexity, too. 89-90 points, 13-14€, highly recommended.
