A perfect everyday Bordeaux. Textbook in every aspect, it’s just not as concentrated as more expensive ones. Elegant and refined. Classic paprika, bark and black currant aromatics and a round, soft palate with enough structure and tannin for the style. The intensity is above its humble class, it’s open and really comes through. Ready now, no edges, no need to put it away. 86 points and great value (bought at around 3,5 Euros). I would by a case next time I see it on the shelves.
