Péter Pince Arcus 2019

New vintage of the Péter Pince Arcus. A bit different, than the 2018, but none the less great…

Alcohol is one percent down compared to the 2018 – only 12,5%. Yet there is not a hint of unripeness or sharpness which often comes with furmint harvested early (it’s a blend, although). Freshness, tropical fruit lushness, and on top oaky creaminess with caramel notes – a lot going on kind of nose. The palate is soft and polished, the low alcohol makes it light on its feet, yet the depth and persistence of its flavour are simply outstanding. It’s easy to drink and complex enough for contemplation, too. A great wine.
