Syrah has good potential in Hungary in my opinion, but this one is not there yet to prove my theory, unfortunately.
Oak, oak and oak. Where is the Syrah in it? It’s a lighter wine with a Pinot Noir like style, balanced and easy to drink, it could be a nice midweek red without the oak. All in all, not bad or unpleasant, but it will never integrate that barrel. Try in 2022 or with something very smoked.
