Good entry level Kékfrankos: Koch 2017

Let’s forget how ridiculous is to call a 3€ wine “premium”… this is very basic of course but it’s good for what it is.

Fully developed at 3 years of age this is properly varietal and drinks well. Light body, crisp acidity, savory character and spicy black cherry aromatics – it’s quite authentic. A sense of warmer climate, you could guess this comes from the Southern part of Hungary, not from the cooler regions. It’s like a Hungarian version of simple Chianti. A pleasant quaffer.
