I hoped a bit more for the money, but this Corbieres is a good, pleasant red.
A surprising combination of restraint and Mediterranean ripeness. Dark and a bit earthy on the nose, with licorice and some raisin, resembling a bit to an LBV Port. Then it shows low alcohol on the palate, not what I would expect. Lowish acid and medium tannins. Quite round and easy to drink. Not simple but neither profound, quite shy. All in all a pleasant wine. For the lovers of warm climate reds.
