I found previous vintages of this wine (2019, 2018) a bit more concentrated, although this 2022 is still a pleasant everyday quaffer.
A simple, but authentic and pure rendition of Chianti. Dried figs, dried cherries and leather – textbook aromatics. A bit thin on the palate, but charmingly austere and well-balanced. A good entry level red for 4-5€, 85 points.
