A Margaret River Cabernet that is well priced compared to its peers. It also feels less “made” than many, I liked it a lot, it’s clearly one to recommend.
A mid-class Cabernet, true to its region, modern, polished and smooth. It’s a lighter take on the variety – less extraction, more drinkability -, yet does not lack flavor or varietal character. Black cherry, mint and camphor nose, soft acidity that feels natural. Perfect, gently firm tannins reminds you in the finish that it’s a true Cabernet. A very well made, intelligent wine.
