Not a young wine and still unapproachable – one wonders how much time it will need. But there is greatness here waiting to unfold…

Unforgiving, really not ready yet. High quality oak, lots of it – it makes the wine muted and tight, quite austere. Sangiovese’s pretty black cherry, leathery notes still come through, though. Sinewy and bone dry, there is something nebbiolo-like about it. Savoury and very tannic. A serious wine without a question, with a 90+ potencial, but closed and embryonic, will need quite some time to open up. Try in 2025 the earliest, but most likely it will be at its best after 2027.
