Just a bit above 1 Euro it’s by far the cheapest wine I bought in the last 10-15 years, and it’s not the worst. Actually it’s not bad at all, I kinda like it.
A simple table wine, but a flawless one. It just tastes like real wine – savoury, unforced, without a hint of sweetness or overt fruit aromas. Traditional Old World style for sure. Varietally correct, too, with the typical crisp acidity of Kékfrankos (Blaufrankisch). Not something to contemplate, but just to drink with a weekday meal.
