Personally I would not age a condrieu, but I was surprised that it’s a 2018, when my friend revealed this after a blind tasting on our recent Cristmas party.
Powerful and ripe. There is some development on the nose, its yellow fruits are getting a golden hue. Slightly aromatic, a touch of jelly sweets hint about the variety. Viscous and full on the palate, yet delicate in a way. A complex, lush white with well integrated oak. Serious stuff. Drink now. 90 points.
