One to prove how lovely Muscadet can be – and also that it ages well.
Classy. Just classy. Does not have real depth yet there is a fine wine feeling to it. Nuanced, with a finesse resembling to good Champagne and dry Riesling in many ways. A steely, bright nose with a bit of nutty development yet retaining a youngish character, it ages beautifully. Bone dry, lean on the palate, it was austere once probably but come together to this point. Lacks length, probably because of the low alcohol, but that’s not a real complain – I enjoyed it immensely.
