One of the most Old-World-like Cabernet I have tasted from Australia. Big thumbs up.
Not your typical Aussie Cab. Elegant, restrained, almost could come from Europe. Developing, tobacco notes enrich the nose. Perfectly varietal. Silky smooth palate, an illusion of lightness, before proper tannic grip in the finish. Unforced, finessed and has quite good depth, too. Just a great wine.
Rating: outstanding, beautiful white wine. 90 points.
