Fun label. And indeed, the wine rocks!
Textbook Loire Valley cabernet franc. Bright and fresh, in a cool climate way. Nothing green here, just crunchy black currants and blueberries and a varietal graphite topnote. Beautiful, smooth texture with pleasantly soft acidity, yet a bone dry taste, supported by perfect tannins. At 13% it’s so drinkable, but has density, too. A lovely wine, so well made. 89 points.
