Another Loire cabernet franc and another amazing affordable wine. This is just perfect for what it is, pure and terroir driven. Give me more!
A beauty. Great typicity, but it’s a more refreshing style with lighter extraction, as it’s common for the appellation. All the better for it. Graphite, paprika, tart blackberries, violets, so vivid. Cheerful and juicy on the palate, with a pinot-like touch, though properly firm on the finish with perfect, ripe tannins. Perfumed, finessed, delicate wine, 10/10 in it’s class. 89 points, a steal at €8 Euros, stockists: cellar door, Vignerons Independants, Vinatis (€7-9).
