I’m sure that many wine lovers will rate this Yalumba higher and indeed it has the depth of a serious wine, yet it failed to impress me.

Complex and rich but lacks charm and interest. Lots of coconut & vanilla oak, it’s old school, powerful but somewhat dried out on the palate. A bit disjointed, too, alcohol is spiking on the finish. Not bad but not really enjoyable either. 83 points. Price: 21-24 €.
