Good to see another Austrian Blaufrankisch off the overoaked road, but perhaps it went a bit too far. Brett and funk, iodine and leather, no fruits. The effortless, juicy and bistro like palate shows the intention I think, and I like that, but the acidity is so high that it leaves a sour and sharp impression. An interesting wine but not one that drinks well.
Rating: a bit controversial, 83 points.
