Beautifully expressive, complex nose, showcasing the mencia character – some green, herbal notes alongside ripe black cherries, black olives. A licorice topnote, there is development here, starts to mellow on the palate, too. It’s smooth, acidity is soft, but it’s bone dry. Finishes with slightly bitter tannins.
