Immensely drinkable, sunshine filled red from Sardinia. For about 5 euros in the Hungarian Lidl this was good value, though seems to be a bit more pricey in Germany.
A fleshy, smooth, soft red with a real Mediterranean character. Ripe and generous, but it’s savoury, there is just a bit of sweetness on the palate, balanced by pleasant bitterness, the finish is properly dry and gently tannic. Not a complex one, but really enjoyable. Recommended.
