Hungary’s most well-known nouveau red wine is back on form. This 2024 vintage of Bogyólé is one the best releases ever.
100% zweigelt, made with carbonic maceration. It jumps out of the glass, full of primary purple fruit, violet and rebarbara notes. Beautifully fresh and bright, and there is a sense of precision to it. Light on the palate yet loaded with fruit flavors, underpinned by nice acidity. Silky texture and crunchy tannins. Fun and so delicious. 86-87 points, highly recommended. Drink now.
