Real nebbiolo experience at an affordable price. Everything is in place. A hard to decode, savoury, autumnal nose with nutmeg, camphor and kirsch notes, then a pungent, tight and full palate with the appropriate sternness you would expect. A wall of chewy, but ripe tannins on the finish, I like them. A pure, unforced wine that already has some seriousness and complexity about it – an exemplary Langhe nebbiolo.
