Pure Grenache from Priorat. Cheap for the region arguably, but the Rhone offers much better value.
A style you can recognize – it’s a bit like a simpler version of the Alvaro Palacios Camins. Brighter, redder than Rhone cousins. Cranberries, cherries, blueberries on the nose, showing precision and freshness. Grenache softness on the palate, lower on acid, though a bit tart. Lacks some drive. Almost Pinot-like lightness. Better on the nose.
