This cabernet franc can be very good in some vintages – like the 2017. But the 2021 is just not good. I had four bottles, all were disappointing. It’s not a good vintage and the wine reflects that.

Nice on the nose, with good typicity. Leafiness, tobacco notes, some development – so far so good. But it’s lean on the palate, somewhat disjointed with a higher than expected acidity which just doesn’t fit its body. A bit short, too. It’s unripe and lacks charm. Acceptable but not good. 80 points.
