Budapest Cafe – the Ébresztő
Budapest is a happy place for the lovers of specialty coffee – there are dozens of fancy cafés to choose from. One of my favorites is Ébresztő: the place is tiny, but the location is fantastic. It’s so close to Pest side of the Margaret Bridge (and to the main tram line 4-6), easy to reach, yet it’s not crowded (as opposed to Espresso Embassy or Madal, for example). Look at that view! The window is facing a pretty park called Jászai Mari tér. And coffee quality is consistently good, I’ve never had a bad cup there. Continue reading
