If you are into monastrell and/or Jumilla, you should try the wines of Bodega Cerrón. They make more elegant wines than most in the region. This entry level red blend is a good startig point.

Purity is key here. Very much monastrell-like, but not oaky or hedonistic, just ripe and generous. A bit of reduction, karob and licorice on the nose. It’s full but dry and not heavy at all. A grown up version of Jumilla red. 88-89 points.
