Simply the benchmark for entry level Eger wine – this is how they should look. Made in a modern style, this is all about ripe fruits from a cool climate. No green edges, nothing overripe, it nails ripeness. So juicy and drinkable, let’s call it a bistro red. Loaded with black cherries, and there is an extra lift to the aromas, an aromatic twist, which should come from the opulent Turán grape, which is added here with proper measure. So seamless and smooth, but not too soft, lovely tannins hold the finish together. Clever wine, and a good representation of the win region.
